  • I created this site as a hub for all things fantasy and folklore with the desire to share ways on how to incorporate both whimsy and symbolic meaning into your everyday life. I'm a huge proponent of the Placebo Effect and subscribe to the idea that we make our own meaning and realities, so why not make life a little bit more magical and joyful.

    Greetings, Traveler! Thank you for stopping by. Alquatica is a one-fae operation. This means it's me who you contact on the other side of the Black Mirror, designing and creating the content and products, and wishing upon a star that you enjoy it.

    As a multifaceted Artist, I draw from many disciplines to create a fantastical and sensory experience for you. I am an Art Director, photographer, and actor by trade just itching to connect others to Nature and Magick. My work ranges from photography, graphic design, videography, cooking, and DIY projects. I take my inspiration from nature, real world folklore and folk practices storybooks, video games, cinema, and literature.

    I'm Argentine-American and have lived all over. Now based in rural Pennsylvania, a place as beautiful as it can be isolating, so this Witch in the Woods is so very pleased to (virtually) meet you from far and near!
